Dr. Kasabji and Dr. Engelhardt design each makeover around the individual — their specific concerns, their oral health baseline, their facial proportions and their life.
Someone with stained, chipped and slightly crowded front teeth might do best with whitening followed by bonding or veneers. Someone with missing teeth, worn enamel and ageing restorations may need implants, crowns and veneers across multiple visits.
The sequence, the timing and the specific treatments come entirely out of your examination and what you want changed. There is no standard version of this.
- Significant discolouration — from age, medications or habits, that whitening alone will not resolve
- Several chipped or cracked teeth — needing coordinated bonding or veneer coverage
- Missing teeth — affecting bite function, bone density and symmetry
- Worn or shortened teeth — enamel loss from grinding or acid erosion changing the proportions of the smile
- Failing old restorations — ageing amalgam, outdated crowns, ill-fitting bridges
- Gum tissue imbalance — a gummy smile or an uneven gum line

A beautiful smile built on an unhealthy foundation will not last. So the cosmetic work comes third, not first.
Foundation
Decay, gum disease and failing restorations treated first.
This is the phase people want to skip. It is the one that decides whether the rest of it holds.
Function
Bite corrections, implants, or orthodontics where they are needed.
A smile that looks right but does not work right is not finished.
Appearance
Whitening, veneers, bonding — in the correct clinical order.
Whitening has to come before veneer shade selection. Implant healing has to come before the final crown. Get the order wrong and you pay for it twice.
Progress is reviewed between phases, and the plan is adjusted if your goals or your circumstances change. It is not a contract you sign once and then follow blindly.
The first appointment has no treatment in it.
It is a long conversation and a full examination. Nothing is done to your teeth that day, deliberately.
The consultation
- Digital X-rays of every tooth, root and bone structure in the smile zone
- Intraoral camera images of every tooth surface, existing restoration and the gum tissue
- Smile photographs for proportion analysis, shade planning and before-and-after documentation
- Your full medical and dental history — medications, systemic conditions, previous work
- Your priorities: what bothers you most, what matters less, and what your budget and timeline actually are
The plan
- A clear clinical reason why each recommended treatment is in the plan
- A sequenced timeline, because some procedures must precede others
- A full cost breakdown, with insurance coordinated before you make any decision
- Alternative options wherever more than one path exists, so the choice is yours to make properly
Multiple procedures mean multiple insurance claims. We coordinate all of them and itemise the lot before you commit to anything.
Each procedure changes the next one.
As restorations go in, the bite changes. As teeth are whitened, the target shade for everything else shifts. As an implant heals, the gum line settles into a new position.
Dr. Kasabji’s background in restorative dentistry is what makes this plannable — understanding how each procedure interacts with the others, how the bite moves as work is placed, and how to sequence it so the result is durable as well as attractive.
Dr. Engelhardt’s emphasis on patient education means nobody starts a makeover here without understanding why every procedure in it is recommended.
