What we treat
Most dental emergencies, same practice.
Diagnosed with 3D imaging on site, and treated here rather than referred elsewhere wherever we can.
Severe toothache
Persistent or throbbing pain, pain when biting, or pain that wakes you at night.
Broken or chipped tooth
Fractures from injury or biting down, including teeth broken at the gum line.
Abscess or infection
Swelling, a bad taste, or a painful bump on the gum. These do not resolve on their own.
Lost crown or filling
An exposed tooth is sensitive and vulnerable. We can usually re-secure or replace it.
Knocked-out tooth
Keep it moist and call immediately — time matters more here than with anything else.
Urgent extraction
When a tooth cannot be saved, removal is handled in-house by an oral-surgery-trained dentist.

While you wait
Before your appointment
Toothache — rinse with warm salt water. Over-the-counter pain relief taken as directed on the packet can help. Don’t hold aspirin against the gum.
Knocked-out tooth — handle it by the crown, not the root. Keep it in milk or saliva. Do not scrub it.
Broken tooth — rinse gently, and use a cold compress on the outside of the cheek to limit swelling.
Swelling — call us the same day. Swelling that spreads towards the eye or throat needs emergency medical care.

Do you accept walk-in emergency patients?
Please call ahead before visiting so we can confirm availability and prepare for your arrival. Walk-in care depends on the clinical team’s availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Can I get a same-day appointment?
Same-day care may be available during regular office hours. Call and we’ll confirm the earliest appointment we can genuinely offer rather than guessing.
Can I call after hours or at the weekend?
Both offices are closed Saturday and Sunday. For a genuine after-hours emergency, call and when a doctor or team member is available we will guide you or help arrange the appropriate next step. For trouble breathing or swallowing, severe swelling, uncontrolled bleeding or serious injury, seek emergency medical care immediately.
Should I go to the emergency room instead?
A hospital emergency room is the right place for facial trauma, uncontrolled bleeding, or swelling that affects your breathing or swallowing. How much does emergency dental care cost?
It depends on what is needed — an exam and X-rays, a filling, a root canal and an extraction all carry different fees. We explain costs clearly before beginning treatment. We accept most PPO dental insurance plans, and CareCredit and Cherry financing are available.
Do you treat children in an emergency?
Yes. We see children as well as adults, and the practice offers pediatric care alongside general and emergency dentistry.
