Not every tooth is a candidate.
Single-visit crowns may allow eligible patients to finish crown treatment in one appointment, avoiding a temporary and a second visit. Your dentist will confirm whether it is appropriate for your particular tooth and what it needs.
Some cases genuinely do better with a laboratory-made crown — complex bite situations, certain aesthetic demands on front teeth, and teeth where more groundwork is needed before a crown goes on at all.
