Yes. We specifically reserve daily slots for emergency patients. Call us as early as possible — Monday through Friday, 8am–4pm — and we'll do everything we can to see you the same day. Let us know you're in pain and we'll prioritize your case.
What if I don't have dental insurance? +
No insurance? No problem. We accept CareCredit (0% interest for up to 18 months) and Cherry Financing (flexible monthly payments with quick approval) so you can get the care you need today and pay over time. Call us and we'll walk you through your options before your visit.
Do you accept walk-in emergency patients? +
We strongly recommend calling ahead so we can prepare for your arrival and minimize your wait — but if you show up in pain, we will always do our best to help you. Call (860) 430-4388 and we'll get you in as fast as possible.
What should I do before I arrive for a dental emergency? +
For a toothache: rinse gently with warm water and take an over-the-counter pain reliever like ibuprofen. For a knocked-out tooth: place it in a glass of milk or between your cheek and gum — do not scrub the root. For facial swelling: apply a cold pack on the outside. Then call us immediately and head in.
Do you treat dental abscesses and infections? +
Yes, absolutely. Dental infections are serious and can spread to your jaw, neck, or head if left untreated. If you have facial swelling, fever, or difficulty swallowing alongside tooth pain, call us right away — or go to the nearest ER if symptoms are severe. We treat abscesses urgently with drainage and antibiotics.
How much does emergency dental care cost? +
Costs vary depending on what treatment is needed — an exam and X-rays, a filling, a root canal, or an extraction each carry different fees. We always explain costs clearly before beginning treatment. With CareCredit or Cherry Financing, many patients pay $0 upfront. Call us and we can give you a general estimate over the phone.
